Learning Through Discovery

We believe the best learning happens when curiosity leads the way. At AIMS, you won't learn by mindless memorization—you'll investigate, build, and discover for yourself. Every concept starts with a question that matters.

Our curriculum is designed for students who want more than surface-level understanding. You'll own your learning journey, guided by mentors who are passionate about helping you grow.

Inquiry First

Every concept starts with a question. You'll learn by investigating and exploring new perspectives.

Build to Understand

From neural networks to proofs, you'll construct understanding through hands-on exploration.

Learn Together

Join a community that challenges your thinking and grows alongside you.

Six Weeks of Discovery

From foundations to frontiers—each phase builds on the last as you develop mastery and explore research questions.

Weeks 1–2

Foundation Building

Dive into the mathematical language of AI and the structure of mathematics. From Python basics to your first models, from arithmetic to axioms—building a shared foundation.

Weeks 3–4

Deep Exploration

Choose your path. AI track: regression to neural networks. Math track: number theory, algebraic geometry, group theory. Faculty help you make the material your own.

Weeks 5–6

Independent Research

The final stretch is yours. Pursue independent research or dive into advanced topics like LLMs, elliptic curves, or Lie groups. Present your work in our student research series.
